Obama surrounds himself with many racists wearing clerical garb, whose favorite sermons seem to be those which insult, denigrate and demonize white people. At a time when we should all be working together as Americans, Obama and his 'Rat pack are trying to tear our American fabric apart; threatening a race war if we don't kow-tow to their demands that we elect Obama as our president.

I just got a message from Andrea Shea King, a radio host and friend in Florida, telling me that she is going to have two incredible guests on her show today.

Joe Galloway, the author (and former war correspondent) who wrote about the Battle of Ia Drang in Vietnam in his book, "We Were Soldiers Once... And Young," will be Andrea's guest during the first hour of the show which begins at 3pm eastern.

And during the second hour of the show, Lt. Col. Bruce Crandall, who was one of the heroic chopper pilots during the Battle of Ia Drang, will be interviewed. For his heroism during that battle, Crandall was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor in a ceremony at the White House on Monday.

What?! You don't know who Lt. Col. Bruce Crandall is? You mean you didn't read about this in your local paper, or see a report on your nightly news?

Yesterday the Gathering of Eagles held a press conference at the National Press Club. A few of the MSM showed up and paid attention. No matter though, news of the Gathering of Eagles has spread across the internet like a Santa Ana wind-powered wildfire.

The communists sponsoring the "peace" rally at the Vietnam Memorial Wall on March 17th, International ANSWER is worried enough about the Gathering of Eagles that they sent Richard Becker to skulk around the press conference.

After the press conference was over, Becker approached a CBS Radio News reporter and began reciting his party line. The reporter grew tired of listening to Becker's rantings, but not Charles Ryder of Age of Hooper blog and freelance reporter and blogger Jeff Gannon. Watch the video to see the exchange:

In the video, Becker poo-poo'd the claims that his group engages in violent and threatening behavior. Take a look at the slide show below. The photos were taken at an ANSWER sponsored "Muslim Solidarity Day" rally in Freedom Plaza in downtown Washington, DC on 5/24/2003.

At that rally, DC ANSWER leaders Mara VerHeyden-Hilliard and Brian Becker (brother of Richard) saw me quietly taking photos as the speakers droned on about the evil, Imperialist USA, and they quickly sent their thugs over to intimidate, push, shove, obstruct and threaten me with grave bodily harm.

Brian Becker called the crowd to attention and told them I was a cockroach, a spy for the government and suggested that they should do to me what they would do to a cockroach. The US Park Police had to intervene numerous times as the ANSWER thugs assaulted and threatened me.

And not just any old airplane will do for Nancy Pelosi, the queen of the House of Representatives.

Ms. Pelosi wants to be able to fly from Washington, DC to San Francisco, CA in comfort and style far beyond her station in life, and the meanies at the DOD aren't bowing down to her demands!

Now, this airplane didn't meet Pelosi's high standards. Last night Ms. Pelosi talked about the "size dispute" with Greta Van Susteren on Fox News:

VAN SUSTEREN: There's a story out there about this dispute over an airplane. What — according to the Washington Times, this morning, is that there is a battle between — my word "battle" — between your office and the White House, maybe the Defense Department, about what type of aircraft — I know that Speaker Hastert had Air Force aircraft after 9/11 to transport him for security reasons, since he's second in line succession, now that's your job. What's the dispute? And what's the story?

PELOSI: Well, the — this is about transportation. It's not about a plane. Myself, I wish I didn't have to have so much security, because I like my freedom of mobility, but being, second in line of succession, and since 9/11, Mr. Hastert had that transportation provided. It was thought by the sergeant of arms office, who provides for the security for Congress that, that should be continued. It's their call as to what security is needed for the speaker of the House, and they requested that.

Where the misrepresentations and mischaracterizations came from, I don't know, perhaps the Defense Department, because I've been one of their critics. But I'll say this, I know it didn't come from the president of the United States. Because he has been, if anything, very definite in saying to me, you need to have the security you have. So, this isn't about.

VAN SUSTEREN: It's about the size of the plane. I think that's what the dispute was.

PELOSI: It was the distance.

VAN SUSTEREN: The distance — oh, well, you're from California, we can't do anything about that.

PELOSI: The distance.

VAN SUSTEREN: I mean.

PELOSI: Nor do we want to.

VAN SUSTEREN: Right. And Speaker Hastert was Illinois, the mid-part of the country.

PELOSI: That's right.

VAN SUSTEREN: But I thought that the dispute was somewhat over whether it was the three Air Force planes, one is about the size of a 757, one's a 737, and one's about the size of a Gulf Stream, those are the three that are — seem to be in discussion.

PELOSI: Right.

VAN SUSTEREN: Is there any — I mean, is there any problem with the - - are you actually asking for a particular size?

PELOSI: No.

VAN SUSTEREN: Or is it just a plane that can go a particular distance?

PELOSI: Well, no, they told me the first day that I was supposed to go that I couldn't make it across the country. And I said well, that's fine, I'm going commercial. I don't — you know, I'm not asking to go on that plane. If you need to take me there for security purposes, you're going to have to get a plane that goes across the country, because I'm going home to my family.

The — and, and — really, I'm happy to go commercial. But they want me to go on this plane, so the issue was distance, not size. And again, it's not about having a plane. It's about having transportation. These planes are used for other purposes in between — in between trips, which are, you know, take place one or twice a week, going or coming. So, it isn't about that. But there are probably those in the Department of Defense who are not happy with my criticism of Secretary Rumsfeld, the war in Iraq, other waste, fraud and abuse in the Defense Department and I guess this is their way of making their voices heard. But it has nothing to do, as I say, with the president of the United States. He has encouraged my having the security I need.

VAN SUSTEREN: Well, I have sort of a solution, maybe if we put on the Internet, everybody in the government who uses these planes and, you know, when they go, so people on the Internet..

PELOSI: Right.

VAN SUSTEREN: Because, look, you know, as a citizen, you know, I sometimes see whether it's a Republican administration or Democrat, I see people showing up at the same event on different planes, instead of carpooling on the plane, occasionally, not often, but if we put on the Internet, let the voters see, and let the voters decide.

PELOSI: Well, I'm happy to be rid of all the security that I have, as I say, I like my independence and my mobility. They have a job to do. It's not just only about protecting me, as the speaker of the House, it's about making sure they know where I am at any given moment, so, in case of a — something happening in our country. The speaker, the leaders in the House and the Senate have to be pulled together immediately, so that's part of it as well. But it's interesting to me that somebody at the Pentagon decided that they would misrepresent, mischaracterize this, but again. I know it's not coming from the president of the United States.

Oh, Nancy I do think that it's all about the size of the aircraft. The range of the 12 passenger Gulfstream III (aka C20B in military) is 3,698 nautical miles, which would get you from Andrews Air Force Base in Suitland, MD to San Francisco, CA (2,610 nm) with more than a few miles to spare.

This is the airplane that the Queen Granny wants, the 45 passenger and 16 crew Boeing 757-200 (aka C32 in military):

Did "Peace" Marchers Really Spit at Josh Sparling?

You bet they did, and they did worse - to all the wounded soldiers and veterans who stood with him last Saturday.

A fairly small group of people who support our country, our president and our troops in the global war on terrorists, stood together along the Moonbat march route where we exercised our own First Amendment rights. We offered a critique of the marchers' signs, their heroes and their political beliefs, none of which went over too well with the "peace and diversity" crowd.

The wounded soldiers and the Iraq war vets who joined us along the fenceline were spat at, called killers, dummies, stupid motherfuckers, idiots, tools, racists (though they never once spoke a racial epithet) and murderers.

One particularly charming fellow from the "peace" crew walked along the sidewalk through our small group, rather than walk on the street in the official march route, and he began his verbal barrage against Cpl. Joshua Sparling. Sparling argued back with the man, using facts rather than name-calling, but the man just got madder and madder, and said something about fighting, but not with a man in a wheelchair. Sparling asked for his crutches and stood up to talk with the guy.

The man then started calling us all "crackers" and racists. Sparling said that he had nothing to do with slavery and that if it had not been for soldiers fighting wars, he'd still be a slave. The man was not in the mood for facts, so he continued hurling insults and poking his finger at Sparling. Sparling said that if it weren't for soldiers he wouldn't be here (on the sidewalk), and the angry man said yes, he would, "with a gun!"

At that point, the police stepped in and told the man to go away.

I'm shocked (not really) at the violence inherent in the peace community.

Later, as the march continued, the wounded soldiers stood along the inner fencing and used their strong voices and bullhorns to talk with the marchers. Most marchers flashed the peace sign, some flashed the single-digit salute signifying their IQs, but others stopped along the outer fence to argue, or to curse.

The ones who seemed rational would carry on a conversation, of sorts; and the soldiers and veterans made very good arguments. Though we can't be sure that anyone they talked to was persuaded to change their positions, at least they stopped long enough to think about what was being said to them.

For other marchers who were smart-asses, or who shouted curses and accusations, we heckled them without mercy.

I took almost two hours of video which I whittled down to less than thirty minutes. I mean, how many minutes of "Peace. Now!" "Stop the war. Impeach Bush!" "9-11 was an inside job!" and "Free, Free Palestine!" can anyone stomach?

In my neck of the woods, we call that kind of support "enemy action."

And while many news stories report on the Spitting Incident where a peace rioter spit at wounded Iraq vet, Cpl. Joshua Sparling, not a one reported on the other incidents that I witnessed during our counter protest on Saturday, January 27, 2007.

The peace rioters, who say they support the troops but not the war, called the dozen or so wounded soldiers in our group killers, fools, nobodies, assholes. They screamed at the men to "Enlist!" On this installment (Part 1 of two parts), you will see an angry man accuse Joshua Sparling of being a dummy and a killer. As the man got angrier, he began to wave his hands around and jab his finger in the air at Josh as he hurled his hate-filled accusations. When Josh started poking his own finger in the air, angry man went nutso! He made some insane racial accusations at Joshua and all the other white people in the area, and said if they weren't there (to back up Joshua, I guess) angry man would have been "there with a gun" to deal with Josh.

So while the media reported on spitting, many of the radical leftist bloggers and websites are trying to discredit that story by calling Joshua a liar. Spitting at Joshua was the mildest thing they did to the soldiers last Saturday. I guess a video camera was a good investment. The proof of the radicals' hatred of America, Americans, and especially American soldiers is in the video:

OK, now you know how I feel about Jane Fonda's actions during the Vietnam war.

Apparently, causing the torture and death of many American soldiers in that war wasn't enough for this traitor. She's back to do to this generation of soldier what she did to their fathers, uncles and grandfathers; and to spit on the memory of all our past military veterans.

Fonda is coming to Washington, DC this weekend, to participate in communist Leslie Cagan's "United for Peace and Justice" anti-war (but only if that war is being waged by the USA) rally and march.

Jihad Jane is a headliner at a pre-rally rally, at the US Navy Memorial.

Yes, the traitor is coming to a military memorial to denounce the military, the administration, and the USA.

Aside from the fact that I find Sheehan and comrades' anti-American rhetoric and behavior disgusting and offensive, this latest media stunt of theirs raises another big issue...

Where in the Hell were the US Capitol Police officers while these Moonbats were scurrying through the Hart Building and setting up their banners to drop over balconies?

Setting up for the banner drops and the follow-up goofy-grin photos had to take a fair amount of time. Can any Cindy, Medea or Gael wander freely through a Federal building carrying a backpack stuffed to overflowing with whatever they care to bring into the building, and have all the time they need to set up their media stunt, without the US Capitol Police even raising an eyebrow?

This is the second time that Medea and Company have pulled this stunt; and I can't count the number of times that this crowd has been allowed into hearings, press conferences, speeches and other events on US Capitol Police "protected" areas, only to disrupt and cause a public disturbance.

By now, the US Capitol Police Department should know these characters on sight.

Why are they allowed entry into secure areas?

Consider this, if Cindy and crowd can wander freely through the Hart Senate Building - taking the time to do whatever they want, without a Capitol cop taking notice - how long until Ahmed, Mustafa and Barack (no, not Obama) try the same thing? Only they won't be dropping a banner into the lobby.

Bush Derangement Syndrome (BDS) - From Wikipedia: The term "Bush Derangement Syndrome" is usually applied as a derogatory term within the Blogosphere to imply that an opponent cannot be reasoned with or that complaints lack substance aside from anti-Bush hatred, due to the illogical connection to the charge.

It can only be a derogatory term, because the people suffering from this condition are bathed in hatred and incapable of rational thought.

Case in Point:

Last night, October 17, 2006, Takoma Park, MD campus of Montgomery College. I arrived at the campus in the early evening to attend a seminar related to my profession. I purposely parked my pretty-good-gas-mileage SUV back in to the parking space, because I have multiple conservative-type bumperstickers on the tailgate. I figured most people would walk through the wide and open parking lot rather than along the narrow sidewalk at the edge of the building where parked cars crowded the narrow space - for personal safety reasons if nothing else.

Anyway, I went inside and met old friends and colleagues as we settled in to learn about the latest technology in our field of study. It was an enjoyable and informative evening.

As I walked across the parking lot when the seminar ended, I saw something on my windshield, tucked under the wiper...

"Anti-American stickers?" What was this person talking about?

I went around to the back of my truck, to see if some errant lefty had stuck anti-American stickers on it without my knowledge...

Nope. All was well with my mobile conservative billboard. My "Semper Fi" and US Navy stickers were intact, as was my "9-11" pentagon shaped sticker. My "Gitmo" and NRA Life Member stickers were also untouched.

What then, did this anonymous messenger mean, that I should feel shame for so-called anti-American stickers?

What is anti-American about wanting our country's borders secured and Americans' rights upheld?

Bush Derangement Syndrome has now reached pandemic proportions within the borders of the Democratic People's Republic of Takoma Park, MD.

How else could any person in their right mind come to the conclusion that these stickers are anti-American?

Maybe the anonymous note writer is an elitist football fan who thinks Alabama is a foreign country?

(July 7, 2006 - Washington, DC) It's only been 64 weeks, but it must seem like an eternity for the America-hating traitors of Code Pink. When they started the Walter Reed Project on March 30, 2005, they expected to be able to win the hearts and minds of Americans worried about the progress of war in Iraq.

Walter Reed Army Medical Center is often the first stop on American soil for our troops who have been grievously wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan. And this is often the first place where their families are able to see their loved one after receiving the news that they were injured. Families are understandably distraught, not knowing what they will find when they are reunited with their loved ones at their bedside. They have to make travel arrangements, find a local place to stay, and find their way into Washington, DC to get to the hospital.

Imagine yourself in their place... you arrive at the main gate at Walter Reed and you see this:

That is what greeted soldiers and family members at the gates of Walter Reed on Friday nights last year.

Not anymore. The Code Pinkos are waaaay down the block with their dirty little protest. We can still smell them, but our wounded warriors and their families would have to look hard to find them or their bogus signs.

Now on Friday nights the families see only positive messages of appreciation, love and support at the four corners of the WRAMC main gate.

But our rights to show our support must really bug the commie Code Pink group. This past Friday, two of their "leaders" walked up from their protest site to cause trouble.

Oh, they would tell you that they just wanted to dialogue with us, that they only sought to try and find common ground, to prove that they had warm blood running through their veins.

They are liars.

A group whose leaders went on a Anti-America propaganda tour to Baghdad (as guests of Saddam) only six weeks before the war began can never be trusted or believed.

A group whose leaders traveled to Venezuela (as guests of dictator Hugo Cahvez) to join in Anti-America demonstrations and conferences there, can never be trusted or believed.

A group whose leaders stood on the Iraq/Jordan border in November 2004 and delivered more than $650,000 to (Medea Benjamin's own words) "the other side" in Fallujah, while our Marines were fighting "the other side" there can never be trusted or believed.

A group whose leaders brought supporters of the (now deposed) Baathist regime to this country for a propaganda tour, to tell lies about American soldiers, the war and our government, can never be trusted or believed.

A group whose leaders had planned an (illegal) propaganda trip to Cuba, to meet with Castro and other members of that regime can never be trusted or believed. That trip was canceled after the US State Department contacted the group and warned them traveling illegally to Cuba.

So, they came up to engage us, and the verbal bloodbath that ensued is on this video...

When will they ever learn?

Americans hate traitors.

And Americans really hate traitors who wage bloodthirsty psychological warfare against our wounded warriors and their families.

Freeper Video Report: Code Pink Cheers 2500 Deaths In Iraq With Coffin March To White House 6/14/06

I got word (from an anonymous source) a week ago that Code Pink was going to have another Moonbat parade in DC on Flag Day (June 14th for those of you in Rio Linda), to celebrate the 2500th US military death in Iraq. It didn't matter to Gael Murphy when she announced the parade that the death toll might not be at 2500; she must have been really bummed by Zarqawi's untimely demise on June 7th (HOOAH! and AirPower!) and needed to do something to lift her out of the funk she was in. And a blood dance was just the ticket, apparently.

I contacted a few DC Chapter members off-forum to let them know I was probably going to be there with my cameras to capture the essence of the Moonbat Movement. Freepers who couldn't be there warned me not to go alone because of Gael Murphy, Allison Yorra and Medea Benjamin's past history of physically assaulting me. I did consider the risks, but figured I'd probably be OK because the area in front of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is swarming with LEOs from multiple agencies; and the Three Code PinkO Stooges are already in enough hot water with those agencies to risk another arrest with any of them.

As luck would have it, my Freeper Friends didn't have to worry about me, as BillF went with me as my bodyguard. Thank you, BillF.

Code Pink's plan was for their marchers to meet up at the Washington Hilton at 2:30pm; there they hoped to catch unsuspecting (gullible) DemoRats leaving the "Take Back America" conference's final speech given by Barack Obama ('Rat-IL), and convince them to join in their downhill march to the White House.

Washington, DC has a population of nearly six hundred thousand people, with probably ninety percent or greater identifying with the 'Rat party. And the "Take Back America" conference probably had a few hundred of the hardest-core lefties in the country in attendance.

But as it turned out, all Code PinkO could muster for their blood march was 80 people (I took a head count as I played back my video from the day), give or take a half-dozen. But I'm jumping ahead...

BillF and I arrived at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue at a little before 4pm, and we strategerized for a few minutes before checking in with a couple of local LEOs. At around 4pm, we heard the distant sound of drywall mud buckets being pounded on, and we knew Code PinkOs were near...

BillF and I spent our time walking amongst the Code Pink revelers, taking in the ambience, listening to their muttering and photographing the attendees and speakers.

Code Pink had managed to get 16 cardboard coffins (draped with American flags), a couple of leftover Vietnam era vets/protesters and Ray McGovern as their keynote speaker. This was going to be a tough 75 minutes for us in our role as independent media .

I shot video and BillF took still shots. It really was a pretty trashy spectacle, with Ray McGovern talking about how four years and some-odd-months-ago we (the USA) went to war because we wanted oil. No, I didn't mis-type the number. McGovern apparently believes we went to war in Afghanistan for oil and not because Osama bin Laden's Islamist followers attacked America on September 11, 2001. McGovern tried his hand at philosophy, quoting Kipling and fake-praying for the Gitmo suicides, the Iraqis who have been killed (how many by Code PinkO funded insurgents?), and our soldiers (again, how many by Code PinkO funded insurgents?). The only people who listened to him were those participating in the demonstration. Tourists and people walking past on their way home from work didn't pay them much attention at all.

After McGovern gave up the microphone, Local PinkO Ann Wilcox made a few hypocritical comments and then introduced a member of Veterans for Peace, Mike Harrington. Mike mentioned that he was a Vietnam era veteran who wasn't a combat vet; but he neglected to tell the audience that he was a co-founder of SDS and Democratic Socialists of America (info credit: www.wintersoldier.com). Go figure.

The next speaker up was a guy named Bruce, who never gave us his last name. Bruce was trying to get folks to join him in a road trip to Buffalo, NY where he planned to cross the "Peace Bridge" into Canada, and offer aid and solidarity to the "war resisters" who have fled the USA to avoid military service. I am not joking!

Apparently the US government has instituted a secret draft and are rounding up young men to force them into the military, I guess to fight this mythical "War For Oil." In their socialism-addled minds, anyway.

After Bruce finished rapping with the dwindling crowd, it was time for Code PinkO spokesbabes to take the mike. Gael Murphy was off somewhere (probably hiding in the shrubbery, embarrassed by the small turnout) and Allison Yorra was off schmoozing the still photogs from Getty Images, Reuters and other dinosaur media, so Ann Wilcox had to give the mike to Sammie Joi. Sammie is a sad sight, actually. She looks to be a former flower child who never quite grew up to find a contributory place in modern society. Then Allison Yorra made her pitch for the very "dangerous" and risky action that Code Pink is pushing this month. They are going to have a "fast" for peace, and are kicking off this media stunt on July 3rd, in Lafayette Park.

After the speechifying was over, folks milled about for a while, and then they staged a die-in of sorts. Sixteen people lay down alongside the cardboard coffins they had lined up along Pennsylvania Avenue, much to the delight of the MSM photogs whose cameras whirred away. Allison Yorra lay on the street, with her left hand clawing the cardboard coffin beside her. Weird.

In addition to the die-in, a man stood on a step stool wearing a skull mask and holding an upside-down paper flag and a small sign. He didn't really explain his street theater, so I was left to imagine that he was depicting the last earthly remains of his hero Zarqawi, as Zarqawi wondered how many Iraqi children he killed today.

Maybe a hundred feet away stood three people wearing ill-fitting orange jumpsuits. The suits weren't too big, they were very snug. One gal wearing a jumpsuit couldn't even button the thing. Maybe she ought to try the Gitmo diet plan. The Gitmo folks were kind of sad looking. At first they were kneeling, but the pavement apparently hurt their knees, so they stood up. One of the guys left early because his knees hurt from kneeling. Interesting.

All the while that this was going on, individual tourists and large tourist groups walked past them on their way to the White House fence, where they took photos, had photos taken and made small talk. Most people didn't even look in the direction of the demonstration.

An angry "preacher" spoke for ten or so minutes, not saying anything much different or more inspiring than the other speakers that preceded him; but he said it loudly and with an angry edge. One tourist yelled at him to shut up. The "preacher" told a crowd of school kids who were watching the spectacle, that they were witnessing a courageous act... What a jerk. Courage is our young men and women standing in harm's way in foreign countries, protecting his right to be a jerk in front of the White House.

After the folks had been laying on the street for about twenty minutes, their choreographer (a post-menopausal white male) walked down the line of sixteen die-inners, and instructed them to put their "Right hand up. Peace sign. Right hand up, peace sign..." On cue, the three MSM photogs rushed to one end of the coffin line to take their photos. Amazing to watch. Almost as well choreographed as the Ice Capades.

When the choreographer called it a wrap, he asked the demonstrators to help take apart the cardboard props, being sure not to let the flags touch the ground. They have become more media savvy than they were during Vietnam.

As Allison Yorra let go of the coffin prop and stood up, the three MSM photogs crowded around her. "Chip" from Getty images asked her a few questions. I had to stifle a laugh when he asked her if she had a kid in the military. She looked that old to him.

As the cardboard coffin props were dismantled, the flags were haphazardly folded and dropped into a pile on a flattened coffin laying on the ground. Allison Yorra walked up to the pile of flags and began stirring through them. I don't know what she was doing, but when she was done, the flags looked like a pile of rags. Great work, Allison.

Gael Murphy passed by me as she was folding up a banner, and she asked me if I had gotten into any more trouble. The only trouble I ever seem to have is when she and Medea and Allison physically assault me as I film their protests and tell them that they're flops. Code Pink has made a name for themselves by disrupting conferences, speeches, conventions, hearings and meetings; but when one woman with a home video camera yells at them and calls them failures, they resort to hitting, shoving, and encouraging their less stable followers to stalk me. Women for peace, my arse!

As the dozen Code Pink bitter-enders gathered their props to leave, there was a small commotion on the sidewalk in front of the White House. A guy whose tinfoil underwear was apparently chafing him marched along the sidewalk ranting about there being no such thing as nuclear weapons, our soldiers were dying for something that didn't exist, and he ended it with a full-throated roar of, "Revolution NOW!"

Another Moonbat flashback ended as expected.

They all went home emptyhanded.

No revolution today.

And George W. Bush is still president.

God Bless our brave men and women in the military who preserve these idiots' right to be idiots.

Eman Khamas - Baathist Apologist

Eman Khamas - aka Eman Ahmed Khammas, Eman Ahmed Khamas, Eman Ahmad Khammas, Eman Ahmad Khamas - is a woman I have written about previously. Right now I am just going back and saving for posterity the document which Khamas and Code Pink are no doubt gnashing their teeth about.

As of today, the website which posted this 2004 interview with Khamas still has the interview on its website; and for that I have to give them credit. I imagine that Medea Benjamin, Khamas and other lefties have pressured them to remove the interview, because it discredits Khamas' new claim to be a woman of peace who says that she never worked for Saddam.

I guess she forgot that she gave this interview, in which she said "Under Saddam Hussein I had a good job with the General Federation of Iraqi Women. Even though it was a facade for the Baathist Party it was a good place for women to work and it did many good things for Iraqi women."

Yeah, like when its representatives stood by and watched as Uday Hussein's death squads rounded up women and slashed them to death with swords and left their beheaded bodies on their families' doorsteps.

Eman is a Baathist, a Saddam apologist; and she is now working in America with Medea Benjamin and Code Pink.

On September 11, 2001, the enemies of America living within our shores got the go-ahead to begin their attack on the USA. And they wasted no time in doing so.

Within days of the terrorist attacks, groups like the Workers World Party quickly formed a wing of radicalism disguised as an "antiwar" coalition; and they held their first mass march on September 29, 2001. The remains of the World Trade Center were still smoldering, and the domestic enemies marched in our streets declaring that we (the US) got what we deserved.

The Revolutionary Communist Party formed their own front groups, Not In Our Name and World Can't Wait.

Outraged by the "Blame America First" attitude of the leftist groups, many Americans took to the streets to counterprotest these marches. Many more Americans joined in investigating the red roots of the modern day "antiwar" movement's many and varied groups.

Still more Americans sat at home and did nothing.

In defense of doing nothing I heard, "They are the fringe," "Everybody knows they are kooks," "They want attention. If we ignore them, they will go away," "Only leftists march in the streets and protest. We don't do that."

Some groups like International ANSWER have been reduced to laughingstock status, thanks to those who investigated their communist ties and fought long and hard to get that information out into the mainstream. Websites like Discover The Network are treasure troves of information on leftist groups and individuals, untangling the incestuous relationship these groups have with one another.

International ANSWER's ranks dwindled rapidly, as they were stripped of weaker supporters who were confronted by counterprotesters who educated them about the group that they were marching with.

Once International ANSWER's reputation was known, other leftist groups were just waiting in the wings to step into the forefront; it's almost like a relay race. Fidel Castro groupie, Medea Benjamin's Global Exchange formed two radical front groups, United For Peace and Justice (UFPJ), led by the communist Leslie Cagan, and Code Pink Women for Peace. As a smaller group more focused on colorful media stunts, Code Pink has been able to operate without the need for large masses of people. UFPJ became a leader in organizing "antiwar" rallies and marches, but soon they were also exposed, and infighting among the communist, socialist, marxist groups took a lot of wind out of the movement.

Conservative activists cheered as the groups' rally/march attendance dropped off significantly from one "mobilization" to the next. And the majority of regular Americans continued on with their lives.

The Mainstream Media was distraught. The mass mobilizations that they so fondly remembered from the Vietnam era were not happening. The college campuses were quiet. No charismatic antiwar leaders could be created by the media.

With no big rallies to televise, they stepped in with hand-wringing reports of dead soldiers, orphaned children, insurgents/"freedom fighters," a grieving mom in a ditch in Texas...

And then they would conduct polls. Sow doubt. Sow discord. So much like the tactics of leftwing groups.

As the media worked their magic, the radical leftwing groups were able to "pretty up" their movement. And fundraise.

The radical left has significantly downsized their demonstrations, but they have increased their "actions." Now they protest at military hospitals, bases, recruiting stations, college ROTC offices, public events, college graduation ceremonies, and administration officials' homes.

Pick. Pick. Chip. Chip.

Here we are, almost five years into the war on terror; the vast majority of Americans have continued to follow the "Ignore them and they will go away" approach to the radical left's antics. They haven't gone away. Like the cockroach, they have evolved. And they have enlisted significant supporters within the Democrat party, including but not limited to: John Murtha, Lynn Woolsey, Howard Dean, John Conyers, Maxine Waters and Sheila Jackson Lee.

Which brings me to the reason why I am writing this.

The radical leftwing group that seems to have bubbled up to prominence in the last year or so is Code Pink. They have been around for a number of years, patiently waiting for their turn. And they are arguably the most dangerous. As a women's "antiwar" group, they disarm the general public with their hot pink attire and feminine message of peace and love for all the world's children. Fuschia feather boas, pink parasols, slips and hot pink pedal-pushers all disguise the hatred of America's system of government and Americans' moral foundations.

In 2003, only weeks before our military began the war in Iraq, the "peaceful ladies" of Code Pink visited Baghdad as guests of Saddam's government, propagandizing for the continuation of his regime, as this only recently released video shows. (release date: May 30, 2006)

In December of 2004, while our Marines were fighting and dying in Fallujah, Code Pink donated at least $650,000 to the insurgents there. They say they support the troops, but they fund the insurgents.

Shortly after the US offensive in Fallujah, Code Pink hired an Iraqi filmmaker and a team of propagandists disguised as journalists to go into Fallujah and elsewhere in Iraq, and they made this propagand video, another recent release (May 24, 2006). Again Code Pink portrays American soldiers as baby-killers, President Bush as the real terrorist and Zarqawi as benevolent myth.

Code Pink stands outside Walter Reed every Friday night saying they support the troops, but they produce videos that call them terrorists and babykillers.

Earlier this year they brought in a group of "Iraqi" women, some of whom don't even live in Iraq, to travel across the USA speaking out against the "US occupation" of Iraq. One of the women, former Iraqi Baathist government employee Eman Ahmed Khammas, told stories to captivated audiences of gullible leftists about American soldiers torturing all Iraqi prisoners, wantonly murdering women and children, and destroying schools, hospitals, homes and mosques.

They say they support the troops, but they call them murderers. And they import former Saddam loyalists to do the same.

Code Pink's coffers are being stocked by someone, enabling them to afford these elaborate propaganda events, around the world travel and video productions.

Code Pink's Fallujah video is long (almost 30 minutes), but should be watched by everyone who thinks we should just ignore them. Listen to what they say in their videos. Pay attention, dammit!

They have ratcheted up their war on the USA. They are trying to turn this into another Vietnam. And this time, should we "lose", the stakes are much higher.

We cannot ignore them and hope they go away.

They have money, a sympathetic media and numerous Democrat/liberal/leftist politicians at their service.

Just as our soldiers are continuing their fight, signing up for third and fourth tours in Iraq, so should all of us who support them re-double our efforts this summer on the homefront.

VIDEO: Code Pink Gone Wild - When Moonbats Attack, Part II - May 18, 2006

Desperate for media attention, the "brains" behind the so-called anti-war group Code Pink Women for Peace, Medea Benjamin, Gael Murphy and Allison Yorra thought they had a perfect plan last Thursday. They joined Cindy Sheehan, CIA turncoat Ray McGovern and approximately fifty or so Howling Moonbats on a planned demonstration and media photo op at the White House, and afterwards marched from there to the home of Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld in Northwest Washington, D.C.

As the rag-tag group of hardcore leftists began their parade from Lafayette Park to Secretary Rumsfeld's home at approximately 3pm, six members of the D.C. Chapter of Free Republic were already on-scene there and had set their counter demonstration plan into action.

We checked in with officers from the various law enforcement agencies present and took a strategic position on the sidewalk right in front of Rumsfeld's house. The media soon started arriving.

By 4 p.m. there were about sixteen cameras and reporters anxiously awaiting the arrival of Code Pink and Cindypalooza.

When word of the marchers reached our location, the media literally ran into the street and up the sidewalk to film them.

The Pinkos came marching down Kalorama Road and set up in the narrow street in front of Rumsfeld's, singing the refrain from "Give Peace a Chance."

The six counterdemonstrators began with a steady chant of "We gave peace a chance, we got 9/11," continuing throughout the bullhorn-powered propaganda speeches by Sheehan, McGovern and Medea Benjamin; not giving the media there even the smallest useable soundbite of the Moonbats. The Pinkos became quite agitated at our peaceful exercising of our First Amendment rights. Imagine that; just six of us chanting against their lies sent Code Pink leaders 'round the bend.

Code Pink's bad Robert Redford lookalike, Gael Murphy, argued with the police to shut us down and move us off the sidewalk and us out of the way. No luck.

Then Cindy and Medea and a few others sat down on part of the sidewalk at the front gate to Rumsfeld's house in an attempt to get arrested. CIA turncoat, Ray McGovern, hung back at the side and kept a low profile throughout the rest of the demonstration.

As the Moonbats had sat down right next to where we were already set up, we held our ground. As MSM video cameras obligingly rolled, and boom microphones zeroed-in on the sit-in participants, we started a new chant of "Media stunt! Media stunt! Media stunt!" A couple of members of the MSM nodded their heads in agreement. Sheehan spent her time sitting down alternately flashing the peace sign, mugging for the cameras and working her cell phone.

I was at the edge of the crowd that encircled the sit-in Moonbats and was trying to film at the same time that I was challenging celebrity Cindy Sheehan's use of her son's honorable service for her own political goals. (A standard problem with our small counterprotests is that we all have to wear multiple hats, countering the Moonbats' lies and documenting those lies at the same time.)

Angry Pinkos repeatedly tried to keep me from filming the sit-in while allowing MSM and lefty media sources free access. Some resorted to slugging the video camera I was operating, others poked me with their pink umbrellas, while still others body-blocked me and shoved hands, buttons and papers in front of my camera.

After sitting and chanting at the front gate for approximately twenty minutes, and failing to get arrested by the law enforcement officers there, Code Pink's Medea Benjamin left those demonstrators in that location and led a man dressed up as a Club Gitmo detainee up the driveway to Rumsfeld's side gate to set up a second front in their plan to get arrested for the MSM. She had the hooded Gitmo man sit down there with a man and a woman. Medea and Gael Murphy wrapped the side gate trio in pink yarn (symbolic of chains, perhaps).

While the young gal gave a media interview as she sat in the driveway, Gael Murphy wrote phone numbers on the demonstrators' arms for them to call from jail.

The police kept a watchful eye as the trio leaned up against a curb at the gate along the driveway. We took turns informing the media of Code Pink's support for the insurgents in Iraq, their communist background and their support for Fidel Castro as Medea, Allison Yorra and Gael skittered about between the two groups of dejected sit-in participants.

After thirty minutes of the trio laying on the driveway, a frustrated Medea informed a few impatient media members that they were going to get arrested, soon, just wait. Then she complained to the police that the protesters hadn't been arrested yet. The police just shrugged their shoulders. They weren't ready to arrest anyone yet. Cindy Sheehan and Ray McGovern left, and demonstration participants started leaving, too. Sheehan had gotten an earful from several of us, including one man who lost a brother in Vietnam. Sheehan hates being confronted by Gold Star families opposed to her treasonous politics.

At that point the Pinkos were split into two groups, one in the driveway and the other in the sidewalk; and their demonstration was not going as they had planned. After more than an hour, they still had not been able to get arrested. Everyone in the media was bored, and most were either preparing to leave or had already gone. The Freepers and the Pinkos were free to engage each other. The Pinkos were not having fun. They called us chickenhawks; we catcalled back that their demonstration was a failure, that the police were bored with them, that the media was gone.

They were not happy at all to have the same tactics they use at press conferences, hearings, fundraisers, conventions and the last inaugural used against them.

Medea finally got tired of trying to get her lackeys arrested for sitting on the sidewalk and in the driveway, so she had them get up and ordered them to go sit in the street and block traffic with a "die-in".

The only problem with that plan was the police had already blocked the street because of the protest, so again the police were not interested in arresting them and giving them their media photo op.

About a dozen Pinkos sat and lay in the street. Looking at them lounging about, forlornly waiting for the arrests that never came, DC Chapter co-leader Kristinn, walked over to them. He held his hand over their heads and started walking around them saying, "Duck, duck, duck, duck, duck." When he got to Gael Murphy, he called out, "Goose!"

She was not amused. So Kristinn walked back, again playing "Duck, duck, goose." This time he stopped at Allison Yorra. She was not amused either. What a bunch of sourpusses.

After failing yet again to get arrested, the twelve to eighteen remaining Pinkos walked back over to stand in front of Rumsfeld's. Medea was getting more aggressive. She shoved one of our signs as she walked around, and then tried a couple times to grab it from Mrs. Trooprally. The sign said, "Code Pink = Human IEDs." Mrs. Trooprally held onto the sign and held it high to keep it out of Medea's reach. Former comedian Dick Gregory arrived about then. He was late to the party but the Pinkos gave him a hero's welcome.

We tried to be quiet while Dick Gregory spoke a pseudo prayer. We only spoke out a few times in response to a few of the things he said. He did speak a bit of truth though; he said that the only force that can destroy this world is the Force that created it.

The Pinkos made one last ditch effort to get arrested as Gregory was finishing his speech. Medea announced they would try "one more time" to deliver a letter to Rumsfeld.

With that, three Pinkos, including the Gitmo guy, climbed on the low retaining wall along the sidewalk and charged through the tall, dense Japanese Yew shrubbery lining Rumsfeld's property and tumbled onto his small front yard, into the waiting arms of the police.

Oh happy day!

After two hours and numerous failed attempts, they finally got arrested.

But not Medea, Gael and Allison.

Like a scene out of "Life of Brian," they stayed behind and yelled words of encouragement to their dupes behind the shrubbery.

As the arrests in Rumsfeld's front yard were occuring, the police ordered everyone off of the sidewalk and into the street. Gael and Medea moved only to the curb and began shouting into their shared bullhorn. Medea chanted, "Donald lied, soldiers died!" Then she called out, "We love you Katie!

Gael took the microphone and added, "And Pete Perry and Dave!" Then she started to lecture the police, saying, "Listen police, agents, please treat them kindly. They are non-violent protesters."

At that bogus commentary by Murphy, I shouted at Gael, "The police will treat them kinder than you treated me!"

Gael whirled around and tried to head-butt me and screeched, "SHUT UP!"

I repeated that the police will treat the protesters kinder than Gael treated me.
Gael Murphy became completely unglued and whirled back around and slammmed her hand onto the camera, knocking my hand holding the camera down, and yelled, "WOULD YOU SHUT UP!"

BLAMMO!

Stupid move, Gael. And not very "non-violent", either.

Allison Yorra stepped in to calm Gael down, but Gael would have none of it. She pushed the bullhorn onto my shoulder, up against my ear, and Medea yelled into the microphone. Now, that hurt!

I forced the megaphone down. Gael forced it back up, but a watching police officer told Gael to back off. She and Medea walked away toward the shrubbery.

Sometime after this a fourth person (Mari Blome, 50 - the woman who slammed me earlier in the "peace" demonstration) attempted jail solidarity and plunged into the shrubbery. Earlier, she had been sitting on the Rumsfeld's brick retaining wall, holding a pink umbrella. When she saw her opportunity, she plunged through the bushes, but an alert police officer caught her by her ankles mid-plunge. Her held her while another officer handcuffed her. As I said, this gal had been extremely aggressive toward us all afternoon. I was happly to see her bundled off to the hoosegow for an overnight time-out.

Thoroughly disgusted by their failed media event at Rumsfeld's home, Medea and Gael didn't wait for the paddy wagon pick up their dupes. They hurried off to try and put out a positively-spun press release, an attempt to salvage all their planning and hard work, and to rally their flagging support.

Noted Code Pink screw-up, Allison Yorra, was left in charge. Yorra is the one who forgot to renew Code Pink's Walter Reed demonstration permit.

We taunted Allison for not showing jail solidarity and jumping into the police van with the dupes. When we challenged her for being a "Chickenhawk Peacemonger" she responded by saying something completely unrelated to our catcalls, (para) "I'm a married lesbian with two children." That left us all scratching our heads.

We also had a blast catcalling out to the dupes as the police perp-walked them to the paddy wagon, and mocking the supposed torture that Gael Murphy was warning the police officers against employing...

"Send 'em to Gitmo!"

"Put panties on their heads!"

"Muss their hair!"

"Call them mean names!"

"Make them eat mashed potatoes!"

After the paddy wagon was loaded with the four dupes, the remaining dozen or so Pinkos walked back down Kalorama to Connecticut Avenue. Their Pinko egos were left splattered on the pavement. And their violent behavior was left on videotape.

Those arrested for unlawful entry were Peter Perry, David Barrows, Katie Heald, and Mari Blome.

Katie Heald, who traveled all the way from Oregon to get arrested, was released after only a few hours.

The rest of the motley crew were held overnight.

They all have a trial date of June 1st at 9am.

A Father's Letter to a Good Samaritan

Tonight I was sent this letter in an email, from a friend who knows the letter's author, Michael Sparling. Mike Sparling is the father of PFC Joshua Sparling, a young soldier who was grievously wounded last fall while he was serving in Iraq.

Mr. Sparling wrote this letter to a gentleman that he and his son had the good fortune to meet a few weeks ago, at Reagan National Airport. Mr. Sparling wants this letter out in the blogosphere and he has given permission for its publication. (Full Disclosure Note: My friend made only a few paragraph and punctuation edits before sending it on to me. I made one small spelling correction.)

Dear Mr. “John Doe”,

“John”, when I met you at Ronald Reagan International Airport, you asked that I send you an e-mail in regards to my son, PFC Joshua Sparling. You wanted to know what happened to him while he was stationed in Iraq and what he and the family have been through during this period.
Let me begin by telling you how grateful and thankful we were for you on his flight back to Detroit. As you witnessed, it was very emotional and stressful for both Joshua and myself.

Joshua is with the 82nd Airborne out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He dropped out of college to enlist with the 82nd to fight in the War on Terror. The recruiter told him he was nuts, because of his testing he could be in any MOS they had to offer. Joshua told him that he wanted to go after the bastards that came after us and he could not do that by sitting behind a desk.

In July 2005, Joshua went to West Point on temporary duty with C company 504-PIR, to train cadets for two months. Joshua was given a citation and written up in the New York papers. Basically, the article said that PFC Sparling was on the open fire obstacles with the cadets and one of them lifted their head too high. Josh ran to the officer and yelled at him to keep his damn head down or it would be blown off in combat. The officer embraced Joshua, thanked him and bought him a beer.

They did such a good job with the cadets they were going to be rewarded with a two-week temporary duty in Europe to get their overseas jump wings, which nobody has received since WWII. A week before they were to leave, they got the call the Marines needed support in Iraq.

On September 2, 2005, they arrived in Baghdad, Iraq. Once in Baghdad, Joshua came down with smallpox in reaction to the shot to prevent them. He was under care for three weeks for that and still has scars on the back of his neck and shoulders. They asked him if he wanted to go to Germany for treatment, but he told them he would not leave unless everyone in the 82nd got to go with him.

Joshua then proceeded with his unit to support the Marines in Operation Steel Curtain, on the Syrian border. There were seven member squads of 101st Airborne (Paratroopers), Marines, and Joshua’s squad from the 82nd. The 82nd and Marine squads came under fire from the terrorists. During the fight, the 101st started firing on Joshua’s squad and the Marines. They thought they were engaging terrorists. “Tom”, with the 82nd was hit in the leg by the 101st. Joshua and his squad leader ran 200 meters while under constant enemy fire to the right of the terrorists and got behind a light pole to draw fire away from the two squads, while killing three terrorists, so they could retreat. Then the 101st realized what had happened and took out the appropriate target, killing the remaining terrorists. Joshua called me and said, “Dad, I thought I was going to be killed today, but God had other plans.” Joshua was awarded the Bronze Star with Valor. “Tom”, with the 82nd was shipped to Kuwait for treatment for the rifle wounds he received. Lucky for “Tom” it was a clean wound causing no damage. “Tom” rejoined Joshua and his unit 4 weeks later.

Joshua’s unit and the Marines then went to Ramadi, Iraq for a support mission. While on lookout, they spotted a motor boat crossing the river. Josh was told to try to hit the boat with a 50-caliber machine gun. Josh fired one burst, which sank the boat, and they captured the surviving terrorist. Two terrorists were killed from the explosion of the motor boat. Later, Joshua and his unit were on foot patrol when they came under fire from out of a house. Joshua was told to toss in a grenade. The terrorists sent out two kids around eight years old with the grenade. The kids were blown up by that grenade, which Joshua still cannot deal with. The remaining terrorists were killed.

“Tom” rejoins the unit on November 18, 2005. The 82nd only has two more missions and they can return home. On November 20, 2005 at 1100 hours, they were on foot patrol in the outskirts of Ramadi. They spot what they thought were terrorists and began pursuit on foot. Then the terrorist turned around and set off an IED, or improvised explosive device. Joshua saw the red detonator and yelled before it went off blowing Josh 20 yards away and injuring “Tom”, who had just rejoined the unit two days before.

I received the call by satellite phone from Joshua’s squad leader so Joshua could tell me goodbye. Joshua said, “Dad, I’m sorry, but I’ve been hit bad and they don’t think I’m gonna make it.” Joshua’s buddy tied on a tourniquet above his knee to stop the bleeding. Skin and the knee braces, that all paratroopers wear, were holding on his leg. The chopper was there within two minutes carrying doctors and medics. They started giving him blood transfusions and got the bleeding stopped on the way back to Baghdad.

I received a call saying he was being sent to Landstuhl, Germany for further treatment. On November 23, 2005, I got a call saying Joshua was being shipped to Walter Reed Army Medical Center. I arrived here on November 24th, the same day Joshua did. The doctor in ER wanted to amputate his leg at that point, but it would have been an amputation just below the hip. Joshua said no, so the doctor called in another surgeon, who was on leave. Major Tis, the BEST surgeon in the country in our eyes, told Joshua that he would personally take his case up with Captain Mack and Captain Hagelson, but it was going to be a long hard road ahead. Joshua and I agreed with Major Tis.

On the way to his first surgery on November 24th, the Red Cross gave Joshua a card. Josh thanked them for the card and opened it the next day. The card said, “Have a great time in the war and have a great time dieing in the war.” Joshua hung the card on the wall of his hospital room as an incentive to get well so he could go back to Iraq and finish the job.

Brian Kilmeade from Fox News and Colonel Oliver North came by the hospital just before Christmas and saw the card. They were appalled that someone would send such a card. The story made the news on Fox and Friends. Sean Hannity was made aware of the card and interviewed Joshua on his radio show.

On December 10, 2005, I became unemployed because of the time I would have to be with my son, which is the same day Joshua had a sixteen-hour surgery and the same day he was awarded the Purple Heart. Joshua was also awarded the Silver Star, and will receive it when he travels to Fort Bragg at the beginning of June.

From November 20, 2005 through January 15, 2006, Joshua had over 23 surgeries on his right leg while being treated for depression. He has had 31 surgeries to date. Joshua was discharged from the hospital on February 4, 2006 and began physical therapy. Both bones on his lower right leg were completely gone as well as his calf muscle and nerves. They removed the muscle from his stomach and placed it just below his knee. They did skin grafts from his left leg and hip to put on his right leg and used a new drug hormone that promotes new bone growth.

Joshua suffered other injuries from the explosion as well. He has a blown eardrum, cracked teeth with cavities blown out and shrapnel wounds inside his mouth and all over his body.

In March, Joshua and I were finally able to go home to see our family and friends for the first time in nearly four months. Upon our return to Walter Reed, Joshua informed his great Doctors that he could not get the pain out of his right foot, which was not damaged. They x-rayed his leg and foot. The bone in his leg is now about the size of a spaghetti noodle. The extensive damage done to the nerves in the leg was so severe that the foot was trying to tell the brain that everything was okay, but there are no nerves left in the leg to relay the message, so the foot believes it is damaged. Upon further testing they discovered that Joshua has no feeling in his lower right leg. The good news is in nine to ten months, Joshua’s bones, just below the transplanted stomach muscle, will be large enough to support a below the knee amputation. This news came to us about two weeks ago. Joshua is still on five different narcotics for pain and two anti-depressants, along with others for bone growth.

That brings me to the part where you, “John”, helped us. Joshua had booked a flight to go home for another convalescent leave on SPIRIT Airlines. We told them we would need a wheelchair and assistance with security because he was a wounded paratrooper confined to a wheel chair. They told us that would not be a problem. We normally use Northwest and they are great, but SPIRIT was $35.00 less so we booked with SPIRIT. I cannot fly with Joshua, because when he is home we need a car to go back and forth to the hospital and to dental and ortho appointments. I always send him first then I drive back to Michigan. This is when the incident occurred that precipitated our meeting with you, “John”. You are a great American and a great representative for your company.

We arrived at the airport at 4:30 pm for a 5:10 flight. When we arrived there was no wheel chair, no one at the SPIRIT counter and no security. I looked for a SPIRIT employee for ten minutes. Joshua said, “Dad I’m going to miss my flight, just get me to the gate and they can help us there.” Northwest gave us a wheel chair, but we still had no security. Security would not let us through because we had no boarding pass. We informed them that SPIRIT had our boarding pass and asked that he please let us go to the gate with him and he could verify it, or get someone from SPIRIT and they could give it to him. The security guard said, “You are no different than any other passenger with no boarding pass - no go.”

My son started to cry uncontrollably and told the guard to go to hell. Another lady spoke up and said, “That’s what you get for fighting in a war we have no business in.” Madder and very emotional I asked, “Can’t you remember 9-11?” She responded that was just our excuse to be in Iraq when we should not be there and we deserved whatever we got. That is when my son really lost it. Three WWII vets were coming off flights into DC, gave my son a hug, and stood up to the lady and security guard. They stayed with my son until he flew out.

In the meantime, a wonderful man who works for the Military Severely Injured Center, and assigned to the airport, was called by security. He asked what was going on. The Vets and I explained the situation and he said he would get someone from SPIRIT as soon as possible. It was now 4:50 pm and the plane leaves at 5:10. He went to the SPIRIT counter and there was still no one there.

At 5:00, he found the employees in the back room at the SPIRIT counter, where they had been the entire time. He could not explain why they were not there to support their passengers. The manager came out and told us we were too late and they could not get Joshua on the flight because it was leaving in ten minutes. He also explained that it was a non-refundable ticket, but he would let us fly tomorrow evening.

The head of MSIC (Military Severely Injured Center) said to give us a voucher on another airline and get the Soldier out tonight. The SPIRIT manager said they do not do vouchers for other airlines. I then suggested they give us a refund so we can get a ticket on another airline…he said, “NO.” The head of MSIC told them to give the Soldier a refund now or we will press charges against SPIRIT. We were then given a refund.

Meanwhile, Joshua was still at security. I told him “SPIRIT would not help us, but hang tight, I’ll get you out tonight, I promise.” Joshua said, “Never mind Dad, it’s not worth it. I’m going to end it tonight." I said "Don’t you dare do anything stupid. There are too many people who care about you and too many people have got you where you are today. Remember they thought you were going to die and you fought hard to stay alive. "

I went to the Northwest counter and the lady was crying because of what had happened. She told me she was already working on a ticket for Joshua. Northwest offered any passenger a free roundtrip ticket to anywhere they flew, if they would give up their seat for a soldier who was severely injured in Iraq.

EIGHT businessmen came forward and said he could have their seat and no compensation was necessary. Northwest then asked if anyone would give up his or her first class seat for Joshua. A gentleman came forward and said Joshua could have his seat, saying he would sit in the toilet if need be. Other passengers remarked that Joshua could sit anywhere on the plane he wants and we will sit wherever.

That is when I broke down and started to cry. Everyone on that Northwest flight began patting Joshua on the back shaking his hand and telling him what a great job he did and how proud they were of him and the other troops who serve. After helping my son board, not one person failed to tell me thanks for what my son and I have been through. Joshua made it back to Michigan and is doing extremely well. He has therapy at Port Huron Hospital and he has counseling twice a week and is doing great!

Since this ordeal began, I have lost my job, Joshua and I have missed the birth of my grandson and granddaughter, my 18-year-old son’s graduation from high school and every holiday. Joshua and I feel we would go through it again if need be. My belief has always been God, Family and Country, in that order, nothing else matters.

I am a proud father/grandfather of eight children and ten grandchildren. We will be home in May, to see all the family. We both will return to Walter Reed in June for follow-ups. Joshua should be able to return to the 82nd Airborne in the next 18-24 months or so.

Please keep all of our troops in harms way in your thoughts and prayers. Five out of the seven paratroopers in Joshua’s unit were injured in Iraq. Three of the five are still there. Joshua just got the unlucky straw because he was injured the worst. One of the two injured Marines is already back with his unit. I say already, but it has been over 5 months. Thank God, neither unit lost any lives!

Thanks again “John”, for your kind heart and your uplifting spirit. If any one wants to send a card or anything, please address it to me so I can screen it first.

This afternoon I, along with several other bloggers, received an email from Buzz Patterson informing us that Fran O'Brien's Stadium Steak House, a Washington DC restaurant, is being evicted at the end of April. Why does this matter, you ask? Well, each Friday night for the past two and a half years, Fran O'Brien's has hosted and fed our wounded troops and their families. Restaurant owners Marty and Hal graciously provide a brief respite for our heroes, something that they look forward to and enjoy.
You may recall, from my numerous posts on the counter-demonstrations of Code Pink at Walter Reed, that a bus carrying our wounded troops always makes an appearance. That bus is bringing our troops back from dinner at Fran O'Brien's.

Time to swing into action and help these fabulous people who have helped our wounded heroes week after week after week.

Greyhawk said it best, MAYDAY! MAYDAY!! MAYDAY!!!

Marty and Hal need our help. For over six months they have been asking the Hilton Management for the terms for renewal of their lease. For over 5 months they were told not to worry they would have the renewal lease in a few weeks. About a month ago the Hilton folks stopped responding to their emails and voice messages for a status report and last week Hal and Marty received a one page eviction notice. No explanation was given. We suspect that at least part of the reason is the Friday night dinner Hal and Marty have been hosting for the last two and a half years. It may be that the Hilton folks are concerned about the increased liability of having so many severely injured and disabled soldiers in their basement each Friday (several have taken falls on the steep stairs at the entrance to Fran's (but no law suits or problems have ensued). It may be that there is very limited and problematic wheelchair access to the restaurant (although no ADA complaints have been filed). The truth is that we don't know for sure but what we do know is that this is unfair. Unless we can change the minds of the folks at the Hilton Hotel Fran's will be out of business on May 1st and we will not have any place to hold our Friday night dinner for the injured soldiers and marines of Walter Reed and Bethesda Naval Hospitals. If you are so inclined I would like to ask you to call and/or email the following two officials at the Hilton and voice your support for Hal and Marty and express your concern for the reasoning behind this seemingly arbitrary decision. Please call them tomorrow or Friday and feel free to share this with anyone else who might be willing to call.

How The Left Really Feels About American Soldiers - A Video Report

On Wednesday night, March 29, 2006, the Prince George's Peace and Justice Coalition rented space in the Greenbelt, MD Community center, to host a Code Pink presentation of its allegations of war crimes committed continuously by American soldiers. For folks unfamiliar with the history of Greenbelt, go to this link.

Greenbelt really is a cute place. I have many aunts, uncles and cousins who lived there many, many years ago; and I have fond childhood memories of wandering the paths and walkways throughout the whole planned community with my cousins, and of huge family picnics with us kids laying in the grass at Greenbelt Lake and watching the annual Fourth of July fireworks.

Sadly, since my childhood days, it's been the victim of an overabundance of lefties and liberals. It's kind of a poor man's Takoma Park, politically speaking. But I digress.

The event was scheduled to begin at 7:30pm, so I planned on arriving early enough to get a good spot to set up my camera equipment. Kristinn was at work and would be arriving later by Metro, and ever mindful of our addiction to oil and the increasing damage to Mother Earth from the burning of fossil fuels, BufordP and I carpooled to Greenbelt.

Traffic on the Beltway moved surprisingly well and we arrived well before 7pm. We stopped in at a local eatery and got our ceffeinated beverage of choice and wandered the small shopping area for a few minutes. I noticed an abundance of vehicles whose owners seem unable to "MoveOn" and still had Kerry/Edwards bumperstickers proudly affixed to the bumpers.

At 7pm we went inside and tried to find the room the event would be in. BufordP asked a young lady where room 201 was and she happily directed us to go down to the end of the hall and "Turn left at our frog," and go up the steps. So we did.

We found the room and I set up my video camera and began to write out ideas for questions... BufordP people-watched. The room was set up with 60 hard metal folding chairs, and they were pretty much filled by the start-time. At 7:30 I took a look around the room and made eye contact with MilBlogger CJ, (aka Freeper chcknhawk) and his three very well-behaved young children.

The event was probably thirty minutes late starting, because of technical problems that never really got worked out with the computers that were to host a PowerPoint presentation.

Eman Ahmed Khammas spoke for nearly an hour, talking about all the people (all innocent, of course) who were killed, maimed and/or widowed by the American occupiers. Heads nodded all through the room as Khammas told of American snipers perched in mosque minarets, picking off Iraqi civilians and children.

She told of Iraqi prisoners being dragged to death by American soldiers, of torture... that prisoners had told her that electric drills were used to drill holes in their bodies, (all together now...) by American soldiers. Eman said that all Iraqi prisoners were tortured... by American soldiers. Whole towns were target and destroyed, on purpose, by American soldiers...

You get the picture.

The poor man who worked to get the computer to read the PowerPoint presentation was finally successful, sort of; and he began to project Eman's photos onto the whiteboard at the front of the room. Eman showed photos of families that had died in Iraq... she had photos of buildings turned into rubble piles... a couple of gory photos of dead bodies. And you already know who she says did all this. Of course! It's the American soldiers!

When she finally had shown her photos and had gotten the audience firmly on her side emotionally, she opened the floor to questions.

The first question (IIRC) was about the "Christian Peacemaker Teams," and Eman blabbered on with some stuff that I just can't remember. But you would probably be safe in assuming that she blamed the American soldiers for the poor kidnappers having to resort to what they did.

Then she called on CJ... and that's where my video report begins.

I have uploaded the video from Wednesday night onto Google Video. I apologize for the size of the file, it's 30 minutes long; and that's after I cut it to bare bones. You need to watch it to believe what we are telling you, though. It worked OK for me, but for those of you on slow connections or dial-up, I don't know if it will work for you. I compressed it down as much as I could. I will make a short version with the attack on CJ, and maybe shorts of Nofel and Kristinn, too; but that all takes time. Please be patient with me. :-)

After so many years and so many media interviews by the Leftists, to convince the American public that they love the soldiers and just want them to come home - it was all thrown out the window when CJ spoke.

When CJ asked Eman if she thought he was a murderer, one guy in the audience shouted out, "YES!" and it quickly devolved from there. CJ was shouted at, cursed, told to shut up, told to leave, and some particularly unhinged Moonbat woman went off in an Oscar-quality performance.

CJ's young kids, remarkably well-behaved throughout this long evening, continued to stay calm and stand by their dad as everybody in the room went crazy; though they did cover their ears in self-defense. As I was watching the video on my TV last night I watched his young son's face and wondered what he was thinking as he looked at the really unhinged woman. "You are seriously crazy, lady" comes to mind.

One man did stand up and try to calm the crowd and he admonished them for ganging up on CJ, but he was quickly dismissed. Recognizing that he was not as loved by these leftists as they say, CJ left with his kids and things slowly calmed down to a level of only slight insanity and agitation.

A couple of other questions were asked and answered with the routine answer, "American soldier bad". And then Nofel raised his hand to ask a question.

He introduced himself as an Iraqi and said that he was proud to live in America. He asked Eman how many people were killed by Saddam; she answered, "thousands." He corrected her and told the audience that 4 million were killed by Saddam and he gave examples. He asked Eman why she calls it "occupation" when it's really "liberation." They spoke back and forth for several minutes, and Nofel made some very strong comments to Eman. He said that anyone who argues so strongly against the American liberation of Iraq must be a Saddam loyalist. Of course she denied being a Saddamist. The audience grew restless and argumentative, telling him to let others ask questions.

Eman gave her answers and comments and again she and Nofel began a back-and-forth; and again the Moonbats objected.

Later Kristinn was able to ask his questions and disagree with Eman's tales, giving the audience a concise history of the troubles in Iraq. A woman grabbed Kristinn by the arm, trying to get him out of the room, and he very loudly tells her to unhand him. Leftists always think the protective laws about civil rights and against assault and personal space violations only apply to them.

Kristinn made many good points, and commented to Eman that she was working with a group that had endorsed the Iraqi resistance, and the crowd groaned and objected. Kristinn told them to check out the World Tribunal website.

By now, Eman was very weary of the questions and comments that did not go her way. I had held my hand up for a long time, and she finally called on me.

I have to learn not to be so relentless. I read from an interview that Eman did with a leftist website, in which she said,

"Under Saddam Hussein I had a good job with the General Federation of Iraqi Women. Even though it was a facade for the Baathist Party it was a good place for women to work and it did many good things for Iraqi women."

Eman very strongly denied that she ever worked for the General Federation of Iraqi Women, the Saddam government institution. I told her that this was an interview with her that I was reading from, that they were her own words, and that the rest of the interview fit with the story she tells of her family and of her life in Iraq (two daughter, etc). Much grumbling and objections emanated from the peanut gallery regarding my comments.

I then asked her if she felt that Amnesty International was a respectable and honest organization. She agreed. I then read from the Amnesty International report on abuse of women in Iraq, in which they recount how a representative of the General Federation of Iraqi Women was present during the beheadings of Iraqi women accused of prostitution. She again denied that she ever worked for this agency.

Members of the audience were shouting, but I am louder and continued. I admonished the folks in the audience to do their own research about the people they are supporting. I doubt they will, though.

My tape ran out before the event ended, so I went back to taking still shots with my camera. I noticed a woman behind me who had been harassing me and blocking my video camera as I tried to film at the November 17th, 2005 recruiting center protest (Note: this is a video link) in Silver Spring.

She recognized me and again began her harrassment tactics, using her coat and hands to block my camera - giggling at her own childish behavior. She then enlisted the assistance of the woman sitting beside her, but she forgot to tell the woman not to touch me or the camera I had up to my face.

The woman swung her hand up and mashed her palm into the camera lens, jamming the camera into my eyeglasses, which isn't a painless thing. I instinctively removed the hand that was mashing the camera into my face, and swung it down and off of me; and I instructed the woman not to touch me again.

She continued to wave her hand near me, but she did not touch me again, proving that she did have at least a few functioning neurons in her brain. The goofy barking woman at her side swung her coat into my camera's focal zone repeatedly and made faces and strange hand gestures for some incomprehensible reason.

Others in the crowd began loudly complaining about this independent media person filming and photographing the happenings at this public event.

Funny that they objected to only my covering the event with video and still equipment, because there were two other video cameras set up and filming in the room; one at the front of the room and the other at the rear. Greenbelt Municipal Access Channel 71 was filming this event for broadcast on Comcast Cable's Greenbelt public access station. Several of us pointed that fact out to the audience, but they still objected, saying I was probably filming it for the government. I guess they didn't think to ask themselves why the government would pay me to do what Greenbelt Municipal Access was filming for free???

I suppose I shouldn't have fed their paranoia, but I said, (IIRC) "That's right. I work for the CIA."

In the meanwhile, as the old broads were roughhousing with my camera, I saw the police come in and ask Kristinn to step outside for a minute, and I wondered if somebody called the police and told them that Kristinn was causing trouble. But after a short time, Kristinn came back into the room. It wasn't until after the evening ended that Kristinn told me the police were asking him if he wanted to press charges against the woman who grabbed him. (It was a very bad night to be a peacenick in Franklin Roosevelt's model city.)

Meanwhile, this poor woman was waging a near-Quixotic battle to regain control of the room. There were a couple of other attempts at questions and answers, and then the evening ended.

Some Lefty Moonbats who come to this blog daily to read my commentary might complain that we disrupted their event. Not true; and here's the answer I gave to one of the "peace and justice" guys who made that complaint when we were chatting with him outside afterwards:

Unlike Gael Murphy, Jodie Evans, Medea Benjamin and Allison Yorra of Code Pink, who all have disrupted events and government proceedings and public hearings with their outbursts, we all listened to the propaganda that Eman was spewing, and we waited patiently for the Q and A part. We politely raised our hands and waited to be called on, and then we ripped them to shreds.

A parting thought: We can't let the left do to our soldiers and our country what their predecessors did during Vietnam. We have to call them on their destructive ulterior motives and confront their lies, or another generation of soldiers will be abandoned by the public they protect and the politicians who only care about reelection.

What If They Gave An Anti-War Protest And Nobody Came ?

Like a bad penny, Leftist Moonbats just keep turning up in the DC area. On Monday, we in DC had the misfortune of "hosting" the circus acts of Cindy Sheehan and Michael Berg, as they used the deaths of their adult children to blame America for all that is wrong in the world.

Michelle Malkin has posted her report, including photos and video (see below) that she and Bryan Preston of Junkyard Blog filmed of the Moonbats as they marched from the Lincoln Memorial to the Pentagon.

Kudos to Michelle and Bryan for filming this interview, and thank you for asking Cindy why she still hasn't put a marker on her son's grave, nearly two years after Casey died.

Nobody tried to levitate the Pentagon during this incarnation of Pentagon Anti-War Protests. There weren't enough folks in their crowd to chant, "Ommmmmm" to levitate even a single one of their Starbucks coffee cups.

Andi, of Andi's World also has a report on the Moonbats' childish antics at the Pentagon, including photos of Berg and others climbing over and slithering under the security fencing that Pentagon Police had put up. Of course the Pentagon Police promptly arrested the spoiled brats.

My dad, an old Marine, taught me, my three sisters and two brothers how to fight. I was just a little kid but I remember to this day, my father showing me how to make a fist and then coaching me on how to hit with it. Dad said "If somebody hits you, hit them back. But don't just hit them one time and think the fight is over. You have to keep on hitting them until you are sure they are down and not going to get back up."

Deborah Johns didn't stop with just one blow. She kept right on hitting Cindy Sheehan - with the facts of Cindy's siding with the insurgents, calling our soldiers "terrorists," using the names of dead American soldiers without the families' permission. Deborah Johns' dad must have taught her the same things my dad taught me. God Bless you, Deborah!

Weasel Confesses!

Update on this story, that I told you all about a couple of weeks ago:

The guy we call "Weasel" has confirmed on his own blog what my photos and video showed:

"Pity the vigil isn’t a protest. Also a pity that I always have a few tools with me. I asked Kevin to take it down, though - him being a veteran, it seemed he had more of a right to. But just for the record, yes, the sharps came from me. "

Weasel goes on to say:

"Apart from calling the police when we took the sign down (yes, they got their sign back, all they had to do was ask), they were quiet."

Funny how Weasel tries to rewrite the facts. They repeatedly denied knowledge of the sign to the police officer (let alone their theft of same) until they realized that their stunt was caught on Candid Camera.

Of course, Weasel and his fellow travelers with Code Pink, DAWN-DC and Veterans for Peace wouldn't recognize it; it's a song that praises this country and its people.

They prefer to stand outside a military hospital and taunt our most seriously wounded American heroes by singing "Knockin' on Heaven's Door." Yes, you read that right. The so-called antiwar protesters outside the gates of Walter Reed are waging a despicable psychological war on our wounded soldiers. They don't give a rat's arse about peace.

Now comes my sales pitch:

If you are in the DC area, please join us. Skip the movie or the night at home in front of the TV. The fresh air will do you good. Help us defend our defenders from the Code Pink parasites of freedom.

We begin our patriotic demostration of support and appreciation of our soldiers and their families at 6:30pm every Friday night, on the east side of Georgia Avenue - at Elder Street, NW.

Battered by the knowledge that the American public overwhelmingly supports our troops and their mission to win the war on terrorists, the gals from Code Pink have been working overtime to clean up their image as a bunch of angry, America-hating old biddies who fund terrorists and psychologically abuse our wounded soldiers.

So, the ~~angry, America-hating old biddies who fund terrorists and psychologically abuse our wounded soldiers~~ ladies of Code Pink recently had a late-night brainstorming session, and this is the result...

They haven't yet been able to come up with anything to post on this page that they titled "Pro Soldier Pro Peace," but we already know why.

1.) The only soldiers they are supportive of are the soldiers in communist run dictatorships; and they can't post that they sent $650,000 in aid to the insurgents in Iraq and not a penny to American soldiers recuperating in American hospitals.

2.) They certainly don't believe in allowing our wounded soldiers to heal in peace, so

2a.) they can't post photos of their weekly Friday night sing-alongs and dance parties outside the gates of Walter Reed

2b.) They can't post the photos of their (March 2004)coffin march from Dover, DE to Walter Reed...

3.) They can't post their great anti military recruitment slogan, "Mothers, don't let your babies grow up to be killers" on the page.

So, even after countless hours of wracking their collective pink little brains, they still cannot come up with one single instance in which they have been supportive of our great men and women in the US military.

WHAT: A demonstration of support and affection for our wounded warriors, their families and those who work tirelessly to heal them at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

WHERE: The NORTHEAST CORNER of Georgia Avenue and Elder Streets, NW Washington, DC

WHEN: Every Friday night - As per our MPDC Demonstration Permit, we begin at 6:30pm and end at 10pm.

WHY: To let the brave men and women in our military know that the vast majority of Americans support them and their mission, and that we honor their bravery and sacrifice. We will not allow the left-wing, Hate-America Moonbats to turn this war into another Vietnam.

There is a group of said America-haters who began holding weekly political protests in March of 2005 at the gates of Walter Reed; where they held signs taunting the wounded soldiers and ridiculing their service. I won't post any photos of their despicable signs in this entry. You can scroll down and read about them in earlier posts. Suffice to say, their political protest belongs on Capitol Hill or at the White House - certainly not at a hospital!

Please join us as we show our troops and their families that Americans support them.

Code Pink and Kevin McCarron caught lying to police at Walter Reed - Watch the Video!

At 6pm on Friday night, January 6, 2006, the proud parents of a US Marine hung a sign on the fence at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. The sign read, "No Protest Zone - Soldiers Healing."

Shortly after 7pm anti-war protesters arrived at their "protest corner" and discovered the sign.

A discussion amonst the lefties ensued.

Apparently their decision was that they were the only people who had a "right" to attach signs or banners onto US Government property. And the conspiracy to deny the First Amendment rights of the Marine's parents began...

A little guy we nicknamed "Weasel" handed Kevin "Maimed For A Lie" McCarron a knife.

McCarron (of Veterans for Peace) then proceeded to cut down the sign with Weasel's knife, handing it back to him and then folding up the sign and walking off with it.

Bruce Wolf's wife, a professional storyteller (I'm not making this up) then handed her hubby their car keys, and Bruce (of OPEIU Local 2) opened the car so McCarron could finalize the theft of the sign.

McCarron placed the sign in the vehicle and Bruce Wolf shut the car door and dutifully locked the car up. They apparently know that theft is a problem in that neighborhood in DC.

The DC Police were called, and at first, the leftists denied to the police officer any knowledge of the sign, who took it down or its whereabouts. But when the police officer watched the video in the presence of the culprits, and demanded that they produce the stolen property, they did so very grudgingly. Code Pink and their leftist comrades have a permit from the DC Police Department for this corner of the street, but that permit only covers DC property. DC jurisdiction ends at the edge of the sidewalk. The fence is on WRAMC property, and that is US Government property - not covered by the PinkOs' DC government permit.

Moral of the story for Code Pink, Veterans for Peace, Gael Murphy, Kevin McCarron, "Weasel," Bruce, Candace, Matthew, "Princess," Large Marge and the rest of the crew:

Don't lie, to anyone; but especially don't lie to the police.

And don't lie to the police about breaking a law; especially when you've broken the law on a public street with so many witnesses who have cameras and video equipment trained on you.

And don't take stuff that doesn't belong to you.

And don't try to deny the civil rights of Americans; especially those Americans who have sons, daughters, wives, husbands, mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers in the military. It's those brave men and women of our military who keep your sorry, America-hating butts free.

Lastly, take your anti-war protest to Capitol Hill, and leave our wounded warriors to heal in the peace they have fought for and so richly deserve.

Dave, read the news. And don't rely on the Main Stream Media (aka MSM) for the whole story; they want sensationalism. Read the MilBlogs, watch the Pentagon Press Briefings, read Free Republic, for crying out loud. Find the stories that the Old Grey Lady and the Washington Post refuse to print because it doesn't fit their leftist agenda.

But don't tell people like O'Reilly that 60% of what they are saying is crap, if you don't know enough about current events to back up your charges.

It's Friday... the Wounded Warriors at Walter Reed are waiting for us

And the angry, leftist, terrorist-funding, law-breaking, blood-dancing peace-rioters are hoping we won't be there.

We mess up their game plan. They hope to beat down the spirit of our wounded warriors with their little demonstrations. They say they support our troops, but how much money have they collected for them? How much aid have they sent to Fisher House?

Not one damn dime. Not one damn penny.

But they do collect money and send it to the "insurgents" who are blowing up our soldiers.

Their pals the insurgents do their work in Iraq, and Code Pink and friends take over the job on American soil.

They hope to win the hearts and minds of America's finest men and women, by saying they want increased government funding for vets - but they slip up when confronted, and they call our soldiers murderers.

So, which is it?

Are our soldiers heroes, or are they murderers?

Well, if you listen to the leftist's own words, they call our soldiers murderers.

And they don't even have the little pink balls to go up to a healthy soldier, or stand outside a military base and call our soldiers murderers.

They go to a military hospital, and taunt the soldiers least likely to kick their sorry, America-hating butts.

How much courage of conviction does that take?

We'll be there.

To call them cowards.

To tell them that their protest of the war belongs downtown, where war-making decisions are made.

To tell them that they are a disgrace to humanity by taunting wounded soldiers as they do.

To tell passers-by that Code Pink and fellow travelers fund the bombers who are filling the beds at Walter Reed.

To tell them that in America's most liberal city, they can't even get a crowd to join them, because even most liberals have consciences and know that taunting our wounded soldiers is disgusting, and they will have no part of it.

We'll also be there to say a very hearty, "Thank You!" to the wounded soldiers, their families and friends, and the medical personnel who are helping them to heal.

We remember Vietnam and how our vets from that war were treated, and we say, "Not this time! Not on our watch!"

Nah, there's a problem with that pesky "non-violent" part.

Nearest I can tell, I'm now supposed to tell five weird habits, or quirky things, about me.

1. I have saved spent brass for more than 10 years, with the plan to, "one day" when I have more time, become a reloader. I'm running out of places to put the stuff, but "one day" I'll get around to it.

2. I don't want to "dialogue" with so-called peace protesters. The vast majority of them are commie-leftist-idiots. And they aren't at all interested in "dialogue." They want you to be quiet and listen to them tell you all that is wrong about this country. If it's so damn bad, then why don't they make use of the empty rafts on our southeastern shores, that newly free Cuban refugees will gladly give them, and paddle their way to a socialist's paradise?

3. Procrastination is my middle name. I work better when under pressure, it seems.

4. I do my own gardening and yard work. No illegal aliens on my payroll.

5. Back in the olden days, I threw out chain mail. Now today, I may be answering Landry's tag, but I won't pass it on... because I procrastinated for so long that there's nobody left to pass it on to.

Happy New Year, everyone! (except for Malachy Kilbride and the other idiot lefties reading this - I hope that 2006 is the most unpleasant and unprofitable year they have ever seen)

Malachy seems to have taken a psychotic interest in me personally after I videotaped a "protest" that he and his America-hating leftist friends had planned at the Silver Spring, MD Armed Forces Recruiting Center.

You see, leftists feel that they have every right to videotape, in the name of "Independent Media" anything they feel is newsworthy - but let someone else do the same thing? No way, according to Malachy and his "non-violent" friends.

Almost as soon as I started (silently) taping that day, the lefties started going berserk. They started asking me who I was, was I a good person or a bad person; and when I didn't answer their questions, they started shoving their signs in front of my camera, their menfolk came up to me and bodily blocked my camera, and some goofball woman charged into the camera to bare her teeth. Don't ask me - I just film these idiots. I don't try to psychoanalyze them.

Anyway, after I managed to get away from the tall, mangy, spitting lefty man, I walked down to the end of the block where the younger lefties were gathered together holding "books not bombs" and "peace now" signs - when out of the blue Malachy Kilbride came prancing right up to my camera with his limp little posterboard sign in hand, and he began slamming his sign into my camera and me and ranting about Alberto Gonzalez.

Great work, Malachy. Attack a short, chubby middle-aged woman - ON CAMERA! Montgomery County, Maryland doesn't take too kindly to men who violently assault women.

And I'll bet that your boss has a rule about using your computer - during business hours - to stalk the woman you assaulted a month ago; especially considering who your boss is. And there is no way to scrub your tracks from the boss's computers. Too late, anyway, little boy. You've been caught red-handed. Fitting for a commie, isn't it?

Folks, it's not too difficult to find out who I am, as Malachy Kilbride was able to do it (with the help of a NAZI Socialist nutcase I pissed off a bunch of years ago, during my days as a gun-rights activist). I've been very active in the gun rights community for years, and have been quoted in many news articles in that regard. I've helped some very good RKBA groups in Maryland to raise public awareness of the societal benefits of firearms ownership, helped to elect public officials who respect the Second Amendment, and have encouraged many women to learn how to safely handle (and own) firearms for self protection and for sport.

I semi-retired, in a manner of speaking, from RKBA activism after the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, because my energies were needed in the fight against terrorism and those who support the terrorists, in the US. Since 2001, I've been involved with a group of good folks in DC and beyond, in exposing the enemies on our shores.

And that's why Malachy Kilbride, Jim MacDonald, Eric Anderson, Gael Murphy, Medea Benjamin, Allison Yorra, Mara VerHeyden-Hilliard, Brian Becker, Victor/Victoria and all the other leftists that come to DC for their peace riots hate me, and my friends in the DC Chapter of Free Republic, so much.

Am I worried about Malachy Kilbride and the others "coming after me?" Not really. They have left too many tracks that would lead right back to them, if anything happened to me. And my family would end up very rich.

What more appropriate day to show photos of the present day enemies of America than on the 64th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

Make no mistake about it, folks - we are under attack, on our soil, once again. And this attack has been ongoing for many years; it's just that now the enemies have ratcheted up their noise. Today's MSM (Main Stream Media) is a willing enabler of these traitors.

What? You think the word "traitor" is a harsh word? What do you think they are?

Code Pink: On March 15, 2005, Code Pink joined forces in Washington, DC with several other groups (I'll highlight them in future entries) in a gruesome display of their hatred of America and her military.

They brought their loud and profane group to the courtyard outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center, where dozens of gravely wounded servicemen and women are trying to heal. And what signs and props did they bring with them, you ask?

They dressed in black outfits, and carried black wreaths, signs, black flowers and black cardboard coffins.

Of course, the MSM was happy to cover this disgusting display.

The procession had begun the day before at Dover, Delaware - outside the Dover AFB, where the remains of servicemembers killed in action are brought in the first leg of their final journey home.

These leftists hold nothing but contempt for our servicemembers who have given so much (some gave all) to protect the rights of all of us, including those Americans who hate America.

If you have the stomach to talk to some of these people, you will "learn" that September 11th was a government plot for world domination and desctruction of civil liberties here in the US. You will also "learn" that the government of Israel put us up to this dastardly plan. For a bunch of leftists - who spout off incessantly about peace and tolerance and inclusion - they sure are a bunch of anti-semitic, race-baiting, murderer-loving (Mao, Che, Fidel, Kim Jong Il, Saddam, Arafat, PLO, Mumia Abu Jamal, etc) liars.

Now, some DC Code Pink members have vociferously, vehemently, and vigorously denied that they ever brought coffins to any of their protests at Walter Reed. But these photos are proof, yet again, that they are not only traitors, but liars as well.

Does Code Pink really love our military?

In two days, Code Pink will be outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center with their leftist comrades, holding what they call a somber, respectful "vigil" for our wounded heroes. The only problem with that description is that it is a lie.

Take a look at the photo on the right. Does that look like a supportive sign? Only in the sick and hate-filled mind of one of Code Pink's supporters.

When a conservative journalist wrote a report on Code Pink's disgusting display at WRAMC, the DC spokesgrrrrrl for Code Pink, Gael Murphy said that those signs were not hers. She suggested that right-wing infiltrators brought and held those signs, just to make her candlelight vigils look bad.

And the only problem with that lie, is that the people who I photographed holding those signs in June and July, 2005 are still participants in the Code Pink demonstrations at WRAMC.

One of the people that Murphy inadvertantly called an infiltrator is Kevin McCarron, a leading name in another anti-America group, "Veterans for Peace" (I think Kevin fancies himself a modern-day John Kerry). McCarron has participated in many of the WRAMC protests, carrying numerous offensive signs, including one bearing the message, "Maimed for a Lie."

The first appearance of that sign was documented by me and other members of the DC Chapter of Free Republic on June 10, 2005, being held by an angry white female; but it quickly became a favorite of McCarron...

The poor man caught in this June 17, 2005 photo alongside McCarron was so disturbed by his sign that he rushed across the street as soon as the traffic signal changed. Many passers-by were equally disturbed by Code Pink's disgusting signs.

As I mentioned, Kevin McCarron still participates in the protests at the hospital, but Gael Murphy must have confiscated those two offensive signs, because we haven't seen them since August.

Most recently, Code Pink has added a song and dance man to their menagerie...

History: Code Pink (and other leftist groups) first began their obscene displays at Walter Reed in March of 2004, when they participated in a gruesome procession from Dover, Delaware (where our soldier heroes killed in action are brought first, in their final journey home) to Walter Reed (where many of our most seriously wounded heroes are brought for medical treatment).

On March 15, 2004, Code Pink, DAWN (DC Anti-War Network) and other hate-America groups gathered on Georgia Avenue outside Walter Reed with black wreaths, coffins and offensive signs, and began their homefront assault our wounded servicemen and women and their families.
